Si tuviese que adivinar, diría que ella ya había escrito cerca de 200 palabras.
Era una señora en sus cincuenta, sentada un par de asientos más adelante de mí en el bus con destino a Ica. Estaba escribiendo un Status Update de Facebook en su celular que había alcanzado ya un nivel literario épico. Las palabras fluían de sus dedos sin detenerse mucho a pensar.
La curiosidad me ganó y, haciendo un esfuerzo, husmeé:
“…el silencio reinaba y quería […] romper los lazos que me ataban a una realidad de la cual quiero escapar”
¿Y si su fluidez se debía no a una facilidad para las palabras sino a una mera transcripción? ¿Una canción o un verso? Una rápida búsqueda en Google me hizo descartar esa teoría. She’s the real McCoy!
“Quizás es una blogger,” le dije bromeando a Thalía, con un tizne de envidia.
Hello! First of, your art is fantastic! It inspires me to draw just looking at it. I’m sure you’ve probably gotten this question more times than you’ve probably picked your nose (maybe not, sorry for my attempt at wittiness), but do you have any advice for an aspiring artist?

Thanks for checking out my stuff! I’ve found that i have picked my nose quite often throughout my life so i doubt that. I think the most important advice I could give is just not to give up. Draw everyday. Draw everything. Draw from life.
