Linux life
– Estoy tratando de instalar Gnome 2. Me senté a leer todo lo referente, pero hay demasiadas dependencias. Así que recurrí a Garnome, pero me dí cuenta que no tengo XFree86 4.2 (tengo la 4.0.algo). Grr… parece que el upgrade va a ser más doloroso. :(

– Estoy considerando cambiar de distro. Después de mirar un poco por aquí y por allá y preguntar por aquí y por allá, llegué a la decisión de migrar a Debian. Tengo un disco duro de 6Gb donde voy a instalarlo inicialmente y hacer todo el chiste del upgrade y tenerlo todo funcionando y bonito. Mi Conectiva 7 queda intacto en todo este transcurso, porque necesito seguir chambeando.
Lo interesante/anecdótico/aventurero va a estar a la hora de mover el Debian instalado del disco de 6Gb a mi disco actual, sin tocar mi data… todavía no sé como hacerlo, pero recuerdo haber leído algo parecido en el Linux from Scratch, así que sé que es plausible.

En estos momentos estoy bajando Debian usando jigdo. Y parece que va a tardar bastante. :(

– Oliver está actualizando su diario. Ahora ya tiene comentarios también (y emoticons, grr). Bueno, yo tengo otra idea loca que espero implementar pronto… sigh, mi tiempo se está reduciendo de nuevo.
